Spring is officially here, and that means it’s time to get into the spring mindset. Longer hours and warmer days call for more adventures ahead.
In Pineappleland, we’re all gearing up for those spring and summer months (especially our 2022 Surf Team), which is why we’ve added aloe and collagen into some of our new recipes. It keeps us glowing from the inside out, and gives us more energy to enjoy the sand, surf, and sun.

Organize your closet
Whether you live in a more year-round climate like our friends down in Florida or enjoy snowy winters like our Playa Bowls in Massachusetts, spring is the perfect time to organize your closet (they call it “spring cleaning” for a reason). Seasonal clothes, new or existing, give us a refreshed feeling, a boost of confidence, that can really help us get into a spring mindset.
As you organize your closet try to figure out what clothes bring you happiness versus clothes you’re just keeping around for the heck of it (like that outfit you haven’t worn in five years but swear you will one day). You can try a simple swap, like an old t-shirt for a new one, or a complete closet makeover.
Wake up earlier
The clocks have turned back but did you actually spring ahead? Now that the winter blues are behind us it’s time to carpe diem the moment and get into the spring mindset.
Science shows that waking up as little as one hour earlier can drastically reduce risk of depression. Try to set your alarm clock 15 minutes earlier each day until you’ve hit your new desired wake up time. Before you know it, you’ll have more energy to catch some major waves this summer.

To get into a spring mindset, make a point to carve out some outdoor time. Take a walk around the block, head to the beach, take a hike, walk your dog (or your cat). All you need in 15 to 20 minutes of sunshine to get the vitamin D your body needs for the day.

Take care of your skin
